Governor’s Land and Two Rivers Country Club are located just seven miles northwest of Colonial Williamsburg and are in close driving distance of major cities, airports, the Atlantic Ocean beaches to the East and the mountains to the West.
Driving time to either Richmond (to the northwest) or Norfolk (to the southeast) is one-hour. Washington, DC is just under a three-hour drive.
Residents and visitors are serviced by Amtrak running north and south from Williamsburg and the Richmond, Norfolk and Newport News airports.

Directions from Richmond.
Take Highway 64 southeast toward Williamsburg and Norfolk. Exit to the right on Route 199/Lightfoot Exit 234. Stay on 199 for 6 miles and turn right onto Monticello Avenue. Continue west on Monticello Avenue (also marked as Route 5000) for 4 miles. Just after Monticello Avenue merges into Route 5 West, watch for the white fencing on your left that denotes Governor's Land property. Turn left into the entrance and stop at the Security Cottage for directions to your destination.
Directions from Norfolk. Take Route 64 West to Exit 242A. Exit onto Route 199 West (toward Jamestown) and proceed for 7.0 miles. Take the Monticello Avenue (VA321) exit onto Monticello Avenue (also marked as Route 5000), heading west. Drive 4.5 miles to a stop light at the intersection with Route 5. Continue straight through the light on Route 5 West. Go 0.4 miles and watch for the white fence on your left that marks Governor's Land property. Turn left into the entrance of Governor's Land and stop at the Security Cottage for directions to your destination.
