Blue Talon Bistro. The fare at the Blue Talon is often characterized as “serious comfort food” by Chef David Everett. This restaurant on Merchants Square offers selections with a distinctly French flair, though local favorites also include American-style rotisserie chicken and cedar-roasted salmon. A Chef’s Kitchen. For a different dining adventure, consider A Chef’s Kitchen located on Prince George Street just off of Merchants Square. Cookbook author and celebrated chef, John Gonzales, combines a culinary lesson with the pleasure of enjoying fine food and selected wines following the preparation of each course. Doraldo’s Restaurant. Whether your preference is Northern or Southern Italian cuisine, Doraldo’s Restaurant in the Village Shops at Kingsmill offers hearty portions served by friendly and enthusiastic staff. Fat Canary. Located on Merchants Square, the Fat Canary has been awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond rating in 2005 through 2007. Executive Chef Thomas Power offers a menu that reflects his diverse regional and ethnic experiences with fresh, in-season ingredients and innovative presentation. The King’s Arms Tavern. With the staff attired in period dress and the fare distinctively 18th century, this restaurant will take you back in time. Located on the Duke of Gloucester Street in Historic Colonial Williamsburg, the tavern serves regional specialties that include peanut soup, grilled meats and chicken, Virginia ham, breast of chicken, game pie and roast prime rib of beef. Le Yaca. Located in the Village Shops at Kingsmill, Le Yaca is known for its innovative cuisine and is often credited with being one of the best dining establishments in the greater Williamsburg area. The Regency Room, Williamsburg Inn. The award winning Regency Room, set in the charming Williamsburg Inn, offers a truly elegant dining experience with menu selections representing the best in regional Southern, as well as Continental cuisine.
