Whether you are hosting a meeting or social gathering, planting a vegetable garden or just in need of a place to store a recreational vehicle, there is space set aside within the community to accommodate your needs.
Community Room. Whether it's meetings of the Book Club or the Garden Club, a Potluck Dinner, an Investment Club discussion or a business retreat, Park East offers a convenient, attractive, and very private meeting place. This furnished and carpeted 28 x 32 foot meeting room features a full service kitchen, French doors to a brick terrace and a wide lawn leading to the picturesque gazebo and pond. It is available for reservations by individuals and groups.
Garden Center. You can’t beat the beauty of dew covered flowers picked in the early morning, or the taste of vegetables gathered fresh from the garden.
The rewards of gardening, plus the fun of working and sharing with friends and neighbors, is a treat available to Governor’s Land residents at the community Garden Center.
The Center is equipped with water (hoses and sprinklers), a tool storage area and a high fence to protect it from the woodland creatures. It boasts 40 plots sized for everyone from the most modest to the very ambitious gardener.
Boat/RV Storage and Parking. Tucked away in a lovely wooded area within Governor’s Land, a fenced and very private parking lot provides a safe storage and parking area for Governor’s Land residents and Two Rivers Yacht Club members.
Sixty spaces are available for boat storage by Governor's Land residents and Two Rivers Yacht Club members who wish to keep their boats on land rather than in the water.
Twenty-four spaces are provided for Governor’s Land residents for parking recreational vehicles, utility trailers and boat trailers.
